What is Taste of Athens?
Produced by Taste Festivals, Taste of Athens is part of a worldwide network of more than 20 events hosted in cities such as London, Paris, Milan, Dubai and many more.
Taste of Athens, for the second consecutive year, brings together the city’s best restaurants, food and drink brands and invites its guests to discover them through immersive experiences.
How can I get to the festival?
Zappeion Megaron is located at the crossing of Vasilissis Olgas Avenue with Vasilissis Sofias Avenue, next to the National Garden of Athens and within walking distance from Syntagma Square and the Greek Parliament building. Access via the public transport is easy for the visitor. You may get to Zappeion by metro (Syntagma station), by tram (Syntagma Station) or by buses and trolleybuses from different Athens districts.

Which are the payment methods within the event?
You may use your credit or debit card to purchase food from the restaurants and drinks from the bars at Taste of Athens. Please note that neither restaurants nor bars accept cash, yet you might need some in case you wish to shop at the producers’ market.
Regarding the tickets purchased at the festival’s kiosk, you may pay by cash or credit/debit card.
How much is the ticket and what does it include?
There are 2 types of tickets. The General Admission ticket costs 20€ and includes access to the 4h session you choose and one dish voucher of 3€. The VIP ticket costs 50€ and includes access to the 4h session you choose, access to the VIP Lounge and one dish voucher of 9€.
Can I bring my own food and/or drink?
No food or alcoholic drink is permitted into the site premises. Bottled water is allowed. Bag searches will be in operation at the event’s entrance and any food or alcoholic drinks will be retained.
Does Taste of Athens embrace any corporate social responsibility action?
In an effort to raise awareness and act in an environmentally responsible way, Taste of Athens provides different types of recycling bins to dispose recyclable items. In addition, the event’s cutlery is made of recyclable material. Furthermore, the festival collaborates with the non-profit organization “Boroume” whose mission is to reduce food waste and increase donated food in Greece.
What security measures are in place for Taste of Athens?
We place the utmost importance on security and we have the appropriate levels of cover in place following liaison with the police and authorities. We ask you to remain vigilant, not leave any belongings unattended, not bring large bags to the event and allow additional time for security checks before entering Taste of Athens.
